Savannah is open for business! Get the latest updates on safety precautions and the status of restaurants and attractions in Savannah here.

Our Commitment to Cleanliness:

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously, and are implementing additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. For the most updated information, please refer to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or your local health authority.

As a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, we have implemented AHLA’s “Safe Stay,” an initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace protocols to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19. Safe Stay will seek to change hotel industry norms, behaviors and standards to ensure both hotel guests and employees are confident in the cleanliness and safety of hotels.

Employee Health, Hotel Safety and Cleaning

  • Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests. We have also increased the availability of antibacterial hand sanitizers, and encourage employees to use them throughout their day.
  • Guest Rooms: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms with hospital grade cleaning solutions, and pay particular attention to high-touch items (e.g phones, tv remotes, light switches, etc).
  • Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces with the continued use of hospital grade cleaning solutions, we are focusing on the counter at the front desk, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys.
  • Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, laundry rooms and staff offices.
  • Food & Beverage Service: For the safety of our guests and employees and in accordance with local executive orders, we have suspended our complimentary breakfast and our hospitality social hour. We invite you to visit Henry’s Restaurant, adjacent to the rear of the hotel, for your breakfast and lunch needs. We recommend the The Olde Pink House Restaurant for lunch, dinner and drinks.
